Get Ready for UKGE 2024: Get HUANG early!

You know how it is. You are minding your own business, running your own state, when you accidentally trigger a peasant revolt and declare war on another state. At least, that’s what might happen on any day you sit down and play HUANG.

HUANG is a 2 to 4-player tile-laying game set in ancient China, during the time of the Warring States. You take control of one of the Warring States, battling to unite the country under your dynasty. Each game is fast, lasting around 90 minutes, and promises a very short teaching time based on an elegant ruleset. Could be a perfect game for a 2-out-of-3 wins tabletop evening.

HUANG, a beautiful re-make by PHALANX of Reiner Knizia’s classic game Yellow & Yangtze, will be available to purchase exclusively at UK Games Expo 2024 (31st May – 2nd June 2024), a week before its global retail release on 6th June 2024. Who doesn’t love playing a new board game before anybody else even can? As if that wasn’t enough, you will even be able to pick up a range of add-ons and expansions, all at special UKGE prices.

PHALANX will be running demos of the game all weekend, and if you take part in a demo you will have the chance to win a copy of HUANG and the deluxe miniatures expansion! The player that achieves the highest score in a demo game over the three days will win. Essentially, you get to play the game at the show and potentially walk away with a copy. Definitely worth a visit to the PHALANX stand S-412 to play a demo, maybe win a prize, and bag your retail copy before anyone else!

You can still get tickets to UK Games Expo 2024, at the NEC May 31st to June 2nd, here.
